Pohon Keramat merupakan situs yang dihormati masyarakat karena berkaitan dengan kisah leluhur Putubosi beserta kedua anaknya, Op. Manalase dan Op. Jamanar, yang dahulu menanam pohon jabi-jabi hingga menyatu dengan pohon bitatar dan menjadikannya tempat beristirahat setelah pulang dari ladang. Menurut cerita turun-temurun, setelah mereka wafat, keturunannya sering bermimpi melihat para leluhur masih berada di bawah pohon tersebut sehingga pohon ini dipercaya memiliki nilai spiritual dan menjadi simbol penghormatan kepada leluhur. Oleh karena itu, masyarakat menjaga kesucian kawasan ini dengan mematuhi aturan adat, seperti tidak membuang sampah, meludah, buang air sembarangan, maupun berkata-kata kotor di sekitar lokasi.

For this reason, the community preserves the sanctity of this area by adhering to customary rules, such as refraining from littering, spitting, relieving oneself in public, or using foul language in the vicinity.
